Transaction Advisory Services

Through its activities and network ICARE is often presented with projects which either do not fit into our investment pattern, or where parties are looking to tap into ICARE’s strong project development skills, including:

 

• Project structuring & Risk Mitigation to secure successful financing, including Export Credit Agencies, Multilateral Banks, international commercial banks and local financial institutions

• Arranging of Equity, Exit Strategies

• Cash Flow Modeling

• Assessment of Technical Solutions

• Negotiation of Key Project Agreements (PPA, EPC, Loan Agreements etc.)

 

 

In such cases, ICARE offers advisory services based on an advisory mandate, giving the interested parties access to its strong deal structuring and implementation skills.

 

 

Examples of such mandates have been:

• Arranging the refinancing of a Bulgarian power plant.

• Arranging of a bidding group for a Turkish Gas Distribution Network

• Advising a large Chinese EPC contractor on accessing, financing and structuring EPC contracts on the African continent
